The Energy Strategies Master's offers students with scientific and technical background the opportunity to gain a skillset which completes their initial training.The Energy Strategies Master’s offers a high level course in energy technologies and policies, which is sought after by both companies and national or international regulation agencies.

The technical knowledge taught within this master’s allows for an in-depth analysis of competition between the different kinds of energy and the technical elements of the choices made by companies and countries. The students will learn a new skillset which will allow them to take part in the creation of the energy policy within their firm or country while remaining linked to french enterprises and relevant institutions.

It is built around the fifth-year study course for engineers (third year at MINES ParisTech) and most particularly around the courses in the Machines Energétique, Economie Industrielle, Droit et Economie de l'Entreprise, Finance Quantitative (Energy Machines, Industrial Economy, Law and Economy applied to firms, Quantitative Finance) majors. The compulsory management and law course applies to firms and government offices, it guides the decisions made by technical operators. Courses on the rational use of energy have been created especially for this master’s.
