Privacy and Cookie Policy of the masterenergy.eu Online Store

§ 1. General Provisions

 

  1. This Privacy Policy sets out the rules for the processing and protection of personal data provided by Users in connection with their use of the services of the online store available at masterenergy.eu (hereinafter: "Service").

§ 2. Purposes, Legal Basis and Scope of Data Processing

 

The administrator processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  1. Fulfillment of the order and performance of the concluded sales contract.

    • Data scope: Name and surname, delivery address, e-mail address, telephone number, company details (if applicable), order number.

    • Legal basis: Art. 6 section 1 letter b GDPR (processing is necessary to perform the contract).

  2. Maintaining the User's account on the Website (if available).

    • Data scope: Name and surname, e-mail address, password (in encrypted form), order history.

    • Legal basis: Art. 6 section 1 letter b GDPR (performance of the contract for the provision of electronic services).

  3. Contact in response to inquiries (e.g. via the contact form).

    • Data scope: Name, e-mail address, query content.

    • Legal basis: Art. 6 section 1 letter f GDPR (legitimate interest of the Administrator, consisting in handling Users' inquiries).

  4. Fulfillment of legal obligations incumbent on the Administrator.

    • This applies in particular to tax and accounting obligations (e.g. issuing and storing invoices).

    • Legal basis: Art. 6 section 1 letter c GDPR (processing is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation).

  5. Conducting statistical analyzes and improving the quality of the Website's services.

    • Data scope: IP address, device type, operating system, browser type, time spent on the website, subpages visited. This data is largely anonymized or pseudonymized.

    • Legal basis: Art. 6 section 1 letter a GDPR (your voluntary consent expressed through cookie settings).

 

§ 3. Data Recipients

 

Your personal data may be transferred to third parties that cooperate with us for the proper functioning of the Website and execution of orders. These are in particular:

  1. Courier and postal companies – to deliver the ordered goods.

  2. Online payment operators – to process payment for the order.

  3. Hosting and IT service providers – in order to maintain and operate the Website.

  4. Accounting office – to the extent necessary to fulfill accounting obligations.

  5. Providers of analytical tools – in this case Google LLC for the Google Analytics service. This data is transferred in an anonymized manner.

All entities to which we entrust data processing guarantee the use of appropriate personal data protection and security measures required by law.

In connection with the processing of your personal data, you have the following rights:

  1. The right to access data (Article 15 of the GDPR) – you can obtain information about what data we process about you.

  2. The right to rectify data (Article 16 of the GDPR) – you can request that incorrect data be corrected or incomplete data be completed.

  3. The right to delete data (“right to be forgotten”) (Article 17 of the GDPR) – you can request the deletion of your data if there is no longer a basis for their processing.

  4. The right to restrict processing (Article 18 of the GDPR) – you can request that we limit the processing of your data.

  5. The right to transfer data (Article 20 of the GDPR) – you can receive your data in a structured format and send it to another administrator.

  6. Right to object (Article 21 of the GDPR) - for data processing based on our legitimate interest.

  7. The right to withdraw consent – if the data is processed on the basis of your consent (e.g. for analytical purposes), you can withdraw it at any time, which will not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out before its withdrawal.

  8. The right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority – if you believe that your data is being processed illegally, you can submit a complaint to the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw).

§ 5. Data Storage Period

 

Your personal data will be stored for the period necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected:

  • Data related to the implementation of the sales contract – for the duration of the contract, and after its completion for the period required by law (e.g. tax and accounting regulations - usually 5 years from the end of the calendar year in which the tax obligation arose).

  • Data from the User's account – until you delete it.

  • Data processed on the basis of consent (analytics) – until consent is withdrawn or for the period indicated in the cookie settings (e.g. 26 months for Google Analytics).

 

§ 6. Cookies and Analytics

 

  1. The website uses cookies. These are small text files sent by the web server and stored by the web browser software.

  2. We use the following types of cookies:

    • Necessary (technical) – necessary for the proper operation of the Website, e.g. to maintain the login session or the operation of the shopping cart. Their use does not require your consent.

  3. In matters not regulated by this Privacy Policy, the provisions of the GDPR and other relevant provisions of Polish law shall apply.
