The three-phase hybrid inverter Selfa SFH 12.1 (12 kW, 3F, HV, Full Backup, 2 MPPT, WiFi/LAN) is a high-performance energy management unit designed for uncompromising energy independence and for installations with increased power demand. The device integrates larger photovoltaic systems with high-voltage (HV) energy storage and provides full three-phase backup power (Full Backup) in the event of a public grid failure. Two independent maximum power point trackers (2 MPPT) ensure optimal performance on roofs with varied geometry, while the integrated WiFi/LAN interface provides continuous remote telemetry monitoring of the installation 24/7.

Selfa SFH 12.1 Hybrid Inverter – Independence, Security and Continuity of Supply
The Selfa SFH 12.1 is a next-generation three-phase hybrid inverter with a rated power of 12 kW, serving as the central hub for controlling energy flows in large prosumer micro-installations, homes with heat pumps and small to medium-sized commercial buildings. Built for uncompromising stability, it combines maximum PV generation, direct cooperation with energy storage and a redundant backup power function in a single optimised system.
High Voltage (HV) Architecture – Maximum Conversion Efficiency
The SFH 12.1 is designed to work directly with high-voltage (HV) energy storage systems. Unlike low-voltage architectures (48 V / LV), HV technology reduces operating currents on the inverter–battery line, minimising heat losses on the DC bus, increasing charge/discharge cycle efficiency and reducing the required cable cross-sections when operating under heavy loads.
True 3-Phase Full Backup – Reliability in Islanding Mode
A loss of power from the distribution grid does not mean downtime for your building. The integrated Full Backup function provides balanced backup power on all three phases at the unit's full rated power.
Seamless transition to island mode protects critical loads (servers, heat pumps, security systems, building automation).
No need to install external automatic transfer switches (ATS) or to limit the installation to dedicated single-phase circuits.
2 Independent MPPT Trackers – No Compromises on Difficult Roof Orientations
The unit features two independent MPPT trackers with a wide operating voltage range. This allows flexible string configuration on roof surfaces with different pitches or orientations (e.g. east–west), extracting maximum power density from the modules even under intermittent shading.
Telemetry, Connectivity and Local Management (WiFi / LAN)
The inverter has an integrated communication module supporting both wireless WiFi and a stable wired LAN (Ethernet) connection.
